On Saturday, January 6, 2024 between 07:00 and 11:30 MST, IT team members will upgrade the university's VPN software to address a known connectivity issue. Although the VPN service will be intermittently available during the upgrade, users should wait until maintenance is complete before attempting to connect. Existing VPN sessions will be terminated at some point during the maintenance period due to multiple system reboots. After the update is complete, users will be prompted to update their VPN client software.
This service disruption affects all systems that require VPN for remote access, including: HR/Finance portal, Banner, Alfresco document management, and test environment applications.
